Štajduhar Mladen

Mladen Štajduhar rođen je 22.06.1955. godine u Rijeci, Hrvat, završio je 1980. Tehnički fakultet, strojarski smjer. Do 1983.radi u Remontnom brodogradilištu "V. Lenac", a od 1983. do

1991. u Centru za radničko stvaralaštvo, kao rukovodilac Patentoteke. Od1991. do danas na mjestu je direktora Riječkog sajma i tu dužnost obavlja profesionalno. Istovremeno volonterski, (u periodu od 1992. do danas) obnaša dužnost predsjednika Uprave Tehnološkog centra d.o.o. Rijeka. Sudionik je Domovinskog rata i nosilac medalje Oluja. 1988. stječe naziv patentnog inženjera specijalizacijom kod Saveznog zavoda za patente Beograd, temom "Mreža tehnoloških centara".

Od 1977. još kao student, počinje raditi na pripremi i organizaciji Međunarodne izložbe izuma, tehničkih unapređenja i noviteta RAST gdje je od 1980. do 1990. urednik kataloga i glavni i projektant izložbe. Od 1985. do 1991. godine organizira i postavlja preko 20 izložbi inovacija na međunarodnim izložbama u Moskvi, Plovdivu, Sofiji, Budimpešti, Grazu, Pittsburghu, Bruxellessu, Brnu. 1990. u procesu nastajanja hrvatske države, pod hrvatskom zastavom organizira nastupe hrvatskih inovatora i tvrtki u Bruxellessu (Eureka) i Pitsburgu (Inpex).

Na domaćem planu organizira rad Tehnološkog centra na području zaštite industrijskog vlasništva, kroz stručnu pomoć inovatorima pri izradi dokumentacije za zaštitu inovacija do njihovog plasmana. Pokreće inicijativu za organizirani izlazak inovatora na tržište, te u sklopu sajamskih priredbi u Rijeci, razvija sustav specijaliziranih izložbi inovacija (inovacije u nautici, inovacije u graditeljstvu, inovacije u auto-moto industriji, inovacije u medicini i ekologiji). Do sada je ukupno održano 30 izložbi, na kojima se inovatorima dodjeljuje besplatan izložbeni prostor. Te izložbe su izlučno mjesto na kojem se vrši selekcija za prestavljanje inovacija na svjetskim izložbama u Bruxellesu, Genevi i Nurnbergu.

Zajedno sa Centrom za inovacije i transfer tehnologije pokreće biblioteku "Inovacije za tržište" u kojoj su u 4 knjige predstavljene inovacije koje se nude hrvatskim poduzetnicima. Ovakvo djelovanje, za koji ima velike zasluge Mladen Štajduhar, prepoznato je, te je Tehnološki centar dobitnik Zlatne kune Hrvatske gospodarske komore, te Godišnje nagrade "Faust Vrančić".

Član je Povjerenstva Primorsko-goranske županije za dodjelu bespovratnih sredstva inovatorima, dopredsjednik je Centra za inovacije i transfer tehnologije. U prethodnim mandatima bio je član Izvršnog odbora Hrvatskog saveza inovatora. Svoje stručno znanje iskazuje u pripremama i radu Hrvatske izložbe inovacija "Arca" gdje je član Centralnog ocjenjivačkog suda i nosilac nastupa inovatora Primorsko-goranske županije na izložbi.

U 2004. godini u suradnji sa lokalnom samoupravom pokreće inicijativu za organiziranje specijalizirane sajamske priredbe "Sajma novih tehnologija i proizvoda", koji u svom drugom izdanju, ove godine, kao samostalna sajamska priredba okuplja preko 200 izlagača. Na jednom mjestu predstavljeni su najuspješniji inovatori i tvrtke nastale na temelju razvoja inovacija, domaći i inozemni tehnološki centri, inozemne inovativne i tehnološke tvrtke, poduzetnička infrastruktura lokalne samouprave, sveučilište i veleučilište sa svojim članicama, klubovi mladih tehničara srednjih i osnovnih škola.

CURRICULUM VITAE

Mladen Štajduhar was born on the 22nd of June, 1955 in Rijeka, Croat. In 1980 graduated from Technical Faculty, mechanical engineering.

He worked at "Viktor Lenac" Shipyard until 1983, and since then until 1991 at the Centre for workers’ creativity as the head of Patentoteka – internal registry and archives of patents. Since 1991 until the present day he has been employed as the Rijeka Fair manager. Parallelly (since the 1992 until today) he has performed the duty of a president of the Technology Centre Ltd. Rijeka Board of directors. He was the participant of the Homeland War and was awarded the Medal for participation in operation "Storm".

In 1988, after the completion of specialization at the Federal Institute for Patents in Belgrade with the thesis "The network of technology centres", he earned the title patents engineer.

Since the 1977, already as a student, he has been involved in preparations and organization of the RAST International exhibition of inventions, technical improvements and novelties where he was the editor of the catalogue and the leading designer of the show in the period from 1980 till 1990. From 1985 till 1991 he organized and designed the lay-out of more than 20 presentations of innovations at international shows in Moscow, Plovdiv, Sofia, Budapest, Graz, Pittsburgh, Brussels, and Brno. In 1990, at the time the Croatian state was established, he organized presentations of Croatian innovators and firms in Brussels (Eureka) and Pittsburgh (Inpex) under the Croatian flag.

On the national scope, he organized the Technology Centre’s work in the field of industrial property protection through the professional assistance given to innovators in the making of documentation for the innovations protection until their placement in the market. He was among the initiators of the innovators’ organized going out onto the market. Within the events at Rijeka Fair, he developed the system of specialized shows of innovations (innovations in nautics, innovations in civil engineering, innovations in automobile industry, innovations in medicine and environmental protection). The total of 30 shows was held until now where the innovators were given the exhibiting area free of charge. These exhibitions are the place where the innovations to be presented at the world shows in Brussels, Geneva and Nuremberg are being selected.

Together with the Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer he started the library "Innovations for the market" within which through 4 books the innovations offered to Croatian entrepreneurs are presented. These activities, for which Mladen Štajduhar is greatly meritorious, have been recognized, so the Technology Centre was awarded the Croatian Chamber of Economy "Zlatna kuna" award and the National Award of Technological Culture "Faust Vrančić".

He is a member of the Primorsko-goranska County Commission for allocation of non-repayable financial means to innovators, the vice-president of the Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer. In previous mandates he was the member of the Croatian Association of Innovators Executive Board. He demonstrates his expertise in the preparation and carrying out the Croatian show of innovations "Arca" where he is the member of the Central panel of judges and the bearer of the innovators from the Primorsko-goranska County presentation at the exhibition.

In co-operation with the local self-government, in 2004 he starts the initiative for the organization of a specialized fair event "The fair of new technologies and products". Its second edition this year, as an independent fair event, assembled more than 200 exhibitors. Through it, the most successful innovators and firms grown up upon the development of innovations, Croatian and foreign technology centres, innovatory and technological firms from foreign countries, the entrepreneurship infrastructure of the region, the University and the Polytechnic and their respective member institutions and young technicians’ clubs at primary and secondary schools were presented at one place.
